Update on Reading Schedule/Workshops · Jan 25, 01:04 PM
We’re finally done restructuring, and unfortunately there won’t be any readings concurrent with the book fair this year. There will be readings in the days running up to the book fair, however, and as soon as I have more information about those I’ll be posting the schedule on the website.
We love giving everyone an opportunity to share their work, but at this point, we don’t have the resources to make readings possible logistically.
Instead of readings, we’ll be having free skill building workshops (possibly screenprinting, bookbinding, etc). We think it’s important to give book artists and others the chance to learn things that will enhance their work. As soon as we have the details squared away, we’ll be posting those on the website as well.
In other news, the vendors keep rolling in, so check out the links on the website. HERO Design is hard at work on this year’s posters and handbills, and I’m mapping out this year’s hand letterpressed programs!
As always, we still need sponsors, so if you’re thinking of donating or have a great idea about partners we can pursue, just let us know!!!
